Senior Leadership Team

Jane Smith

CEO

Before joining the Trust in January 2024, Jane spent five years leading on a project in Hampshire to support justice-involved women with alternative options to short-term custodial sentences. Prior to that she spent 11 years as Operations Director for The Society of St James, a large homeless charity in Hampshire. Jane also has experience of young people’s services, supported housing and residential service delivery. She has a Law degree and a National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety Management.

Mandy Harris

Head Of Supported Living

Mandy has worked for the Trust since 2001 in various roles. She was appointed to her current role in 2024 and is also the Registered Manager for our Supported Living Service. Prior to joining the Trust she worked in respite care with children with physical and learning disabilities. Mandy has an Advanced Diploma in Welfare Studies, an NVQ Level 4 in Care, and The Registered Managers Award.

Teresa Hunt

Head of Operations

Teresa joined the Trust in 2006 following eight years of running her family-owned residential care for the elderly. Teresa has assumed numerous responsibilities including looking after our volunteers and overseeing our housing provision. In January 2025 Teresa became Head of Operations for the Trust, and now works closely with the Chief Executive to oversee the operational activities across the Trust.

Theresa Elliott

Head of Fundraising

Theresa joined the Trust in 2016, bringing with her a wealth of experience in fundraising and sales leadership. Her previous roles have included working as an Appeal Director for a charity that supports severely disabled children and their families, and she also spent 15 years at Thomson Local Directory in telesales and field sales, and was Business Development Manager leading the commercial sales of the Thomson Directory database.

Emma Kelly

Head of HR

Emma joined the Trust in February 2026 bringing with her over 25 years of experience in leading HR teams across several major UK companies. Her expertise spans coaching managers and leaders, people planning, employee engagement and delivering change. Emma has a degree in Business Administration from Bath University and a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma from Southampton Institute in Personnel and Development.
