The Bradbury Centre is located on the high street and is easily accessible for people living in the Southbourne area. Being right in the centre of the local community helps people to feel more involved in the local community, and its close proximity to Southbourne beach makes access to healthy outdoor activities really easy.

Day Services Programme

The Bradbury Centre offers an interesting and stimulating day services programme that enable people to engage in a wide range of activities that support skills development and improved health outcomes, and offers opportunities for people to socialis within their local community and build positive friendships.

Our programme includes:
  • Upcycling small items of furniture
  • Mosaic work
  • Block printing
  • Jewellery making
  • Modelling and sculpture
  • Needlecraft and working with textiles
  • Cookery
  • Outdoor activities such as beach walks and games

  • Teamwork skills
  • Increased knowledge of recycling and reusing
  • Improved sense of achievement

Retail & Enterprise

Our shop focuses on selling beautiful handcrafted items made by our clients, along with unique items created by other local artists. The shop offers a fantastic opportunity for people to gain retail skills and experience that improves the potential for them to access employment and volunteering opportunities within the community.
