Get Involved
Fundraise for SFHT and you will help change the lives of adults with learning disabilities. Whether you are fundraising on your own or as part of a group or company, your support is invaluable to us.
There are many ways that you can get involved and help us to support our service users to enjoy active, healthy lifestyles.

Events
We have lots of different events throughout the year which you may wish to become involved with; either sponsorship, a team opportunity or as a volunteer.
Events
Fundraise For Us
There are many ways that you can fundraise for us, for example you could run a Coffee & Cake morning, or undertake a sponsored activity such as a walk, a cycle ride or a marathon run! You can fundraise as an individual or with friends, family or community groups. We have lots of ideas for you to choose from and if you need any help please get in touch!
Match Funding
Many companies offer match funding schemes to their employees that are fundraising for charity. Most give a £1 donation for every £1 raised by their employees, so if you’re doing any fundraising then be sure to find out if your company can double what you raise.
Volunteer Your Time
We have many volunteers who support us in lots of ways and our service users love to see new faces and make new relationships. If you have a special interest or skill that you think would benefit the Trust, or you simply want to give your time, whether it is a little or a lot, we’d love to hear from you.
Sponsorship
Every year we host many events that require sponsorship. This is a great opportunity to provide valuable financial support to SFHT whilst raising the awareness of your brand. For more information speak to Tracey Hickford traceyhickford@sfht.org.uk. Tel: 07775 767862/01425 485081
Gifts In Kind
Some companies would rather donate goods or services. For example; Bournemouth University closed their old buildings and donated their old furniture and stationery to our day services and AFC Bournemouth offered our clients a tour of the club and an opportunity to meet the players.
